Watching her gave me this thought today, "If we don't plug into the right source, there is no power. Staying plugged into the Word of God, being led by His Holy Spirit, and obeying His word, is what brings true, lasting strength and power in our lives."
I am having so much fun fixing up my new condo. This weekend I found these pretty seashell lamps at Seahorse Cove in Morehead City, NC. They go perfect with my new bedroom furniture and bedding.

This was my favorite find during my most recent shopping trip to Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Morehead City, NC. These festive Beach House Melamine dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, and serving bowl are perfect for outdoor dining at my new beach house! I love the larger serving bowl for serving salads in. The beach house designs with beach chairs and surfboards are just my style.
I made these delicious steak and cheese sliders for lunch today using my new 16 inch Electric Skillet. I love cooking in this! I have an older, smaller sized one, but this one is a much better size for a family of five. I have cooked so many meals in it over the past week since I purchased it, including: Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, Cheeseburgers, and Vegetables.
I have a teenager in the house! S.H. was hoping to go to Red Robin or Olive Garden today for a birthday dinner but with the Coronavirus going on and places shutting down, we decided to eat at home. We enjoyed a wonderful day at home with his homemade favorites: breakfast burritos, cheat steaks for lunch, and chicken pie for dinner, and of course Chocolate cake with chocolate icing. Definitely the best tasting chocolate cake I have ever made! I totally surprised him with an electric scooter for his birthday gift. This evening we went to the church parking lot to have more space to ride it around. He is looking forward to taking it to the beach soon.
Cute Monthly Calendars Printable!
I created these fill in the blank monthly calendars for my children to fill in each month. Students can practice writing their numbers neatly while developing calendar awareness. You may choose to have the students fill in all of the numbers at the beginning of each month or you may have them add the number of the date each day. We also draw a shape on holidays and birthdays that we plan to celebrate each month.
Additional idea: Use these calendars to plan your menu for the month.
