I purchased these two items recently for my children to do spelling practice when we are driving to the beach or doing errands. I used to love to play with my Speak and Spell when I was young. My boys liked the Hangman game the best. In my opinion, both are great for some extra fun spelling practice!

Cute Monthly Calendars Printable!I created these fill in the blank monthly calendars for my children to fill in each month. Students can practice writing their numbers neatly while developing calendar awareness. You may choose to have the students fill in all of the numbers at the beginning of each month or you may have them add the number of the date each day. We also draw a shape on holidays and birthdays that we plan to celebrate each month.
Additional idea: Use these calendars to plan your menu for the month. Click here to download all 12 monthly calendars from my TPT store. Happy New Year!
When I think of 2020, I think of perfect vision, I can see clearly now. I am happy with the first day of 2020. I started out my day with following the Bible reading schedule I got from church. It is always amazing to me how I recognize different things each time I read the Bible. I read each chapter and made notes that I wanted to discuss with the boys later in the day. Afterwards, I got ready for the day and our family traveled to the beach. During our drive we read the chapters together and discussed them. Starting my day in the Bible has really kept me meditating on His Words throughout my day today and also tonight. There's is so much in just these chapters I could spend weeks delving deeper into and learning more about with my kids. It was nice to take the time to study some of the questions I came up with from my Bible reading today on the drive, but mostly I enjoyed the discussions with my children and husband that were prompted by us being in His word together. Later tonight once we got to the beach our family listened to our church's Wednesday night service online. It is funny how God confirms things and helps us know we are going in the right direction. It's pretty amazing to me at times how things just come together. Pastor shared this Bible reading schedule tonight and told people to pick one up from the lobby and his message was on the importance of spending time each day in God's word. I'm sure I am on the right track and off to a great start in 2020! |
